"How happy is that person who has one true friend, and how much more happy those who can call a large multitude their friends, true unto death, bound together in one everlasting covenant, never to be broken.  Such a people is my people and the God of such a people is my God forever ... and whatever there is in my disposition or habits that does not harmonize with such a glorious people, I pray fervently that it may be altered and put away, until I am one with the faithful Saints ... who love God and his priesthood.
